The Royal Guard

[King Reinhardt]

The Royal Guard was first established near the the time of the creation of the faction. Its purpose is to defend the King both on the battlefield and on domestic soil. These soldiers of Acre are volunteers who have shown great interest in protecting the Monarch of Acre. These soldiers follow the King into battle whenever and wherever possible. They give the King their horse if his is downed and cover him and they hold the line until the rest of the group has successfully fallen back. They are Crusaders who have took the calling of not only the Crusade, but of the duty to protect their King.

Requirements:
- At least at the rank of Crusader Man at Arms
- Must have at least 5 riding (recommended: 6)
- Must have at least some 1-h weapon proficiency (recommended: 110+)
- Must have at least 2 shield skill (recommended: 4+)

Don't feel bad, Knightly Knight. The only reason Infantry are not the most useful for the Royal Guard is because I'm cav. I noticed that the infantry in the Royal Guard are often unable to fight with me.
